Our history
The beginning of the firm
1979
Once upon a time… The Clemència Peris firm was founded in 1979 by a young woman from Barcelona, Clemència Peris Barba, graduated in applied Arts and fine crafts in the art of jewellery. The company started out in a small workshop in which the artist made jewellery for the most influential families in the city.

1979
Clemència Peris was awarded first prize at a national-level jewellery competition, organized by the “De Beers” firm aimed at up-and-coming Spanish jewellers.

1987
The Barcelona artist gets into the exclusive finalist group in “Diamonds International Awards Competition” encompassing countries (Europe, Asia and Africa) granted by the firm “De Beers”.
Opens its first design studio and shop in Terrassa
1991
Love, excellence and savoir-faire allowed Clemència Peris to open her own design and shop studio, with 120 m2 of windows with high jewellery pieces created by the Barcelona artist. *Distinction: Due to the international success with the help of “De Beers” and while being one of the leading artists in Spain, the firm was chosen to join the exclusive club of De Beers.
Barcelona Olympics
1992
Clemència Peris is chosen to design the hockey awards at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, which were held in the city and had a significant international resonance.
The firm’s international exhibitions
1997
Carrousel Du Louvre in Paris: Exhibition “Museum Expessions”. Marbella: Great jewellery and diamonds with De Beers. London: “New Trends in Jewelry” exhibition.

2000
In the “Diamond Awards 2000” competition, the firm was a finalist in the top 50 best designers in the world, standing out as the being the only Spanish competitor. 2500 designers from 42 countries around the world participated in the competition.
Second design studio and shop in Barcelona
2003
The firm Clemència Peris opens its second store in the city of Barcelona, calle Valencia, 247 adjacent to Paseo de Gracia and expands its sales to an international market.
E-commerce
2014
The international launch of the firm’s e-commerce takes place. A channel that allows creations to reach all parts of the world.
